Ultimately...better project performance results in improved Customer Satisfaction!

Unlike operations, projects are temporary, having a finite life cycle. The ability to successfully manage a project requires many skills – time management, people management, relationship management, budget management, risk management and the ability to rapidly prioritize in a dynamic atmosphere. Sound Project Management reduces the overall risk of failure. Management Processes are a distinct group of processes with well defined interfaces. However, in practice these groups are likely to overlap and interact in ways not detailed here. This is where employing an experienced Project Manager to facilitate with the project is an asset. Our experience allows the project’s unique phases, processes, and risks to be addressed, before they become a liability to the project and therefore to the organization.

Using the PMBOK as the guide to our methodologies, we break every project into the following phases:

INITIATING PROCESS consists of a group of process that facilitates the formal authorization to start a new projects or a project phase.

PLANNING PROCESSES which defines and refines objectives, and plans the course of action required during the project’s lifecycle to attain the objectives and scope that the project was undertaken to address.

EXECUTING PROCESSES integrates people and other resources to carry out the Project Management Plan for the project.

MONITORING AND CONTROLLING PROCESSES regularly measures and monitors progress to identify variances from the Project Management Plan so that corrective actions can be taken when necessary to meet project objectives.

CLOSING PROCESSES formalizes the acceptance of the product, service or results and brings the project or project phase to an orderly end.
